Neck Area
The skin on the neck is especially fragile and fine in texture.

Neck Area
What we have to offer
The skin on the neck is particularly delicate, with a thinner dermal structure, less sebaceous activity, and reduced collagen support compared to the face. It is subjected to constant movement and mechanical strain, is frequently exposed to the sun, and is often excluded from daily skincare and SPF application. As a result, the neck can show some of the earliest and most prominent signs of ageing, including horizontal lines (also known as necklace lines), crepiness, skin laxity, and pigmentary irregularities.
In-clinic treatments are selected based on the nature and severity of the concerns, and a combination approach is often most effective. Available options include:
• Skin Boosters: These injectables restore hydration and improve skin elasticity by replenishing hyaluronic acid in the dermis. They are particularly useful for improving superficial texture, fine lines, and dryness, and are well tolerated with minimal downtime.
• Polynucleotides: These regenerative treatments stimulate fibroblast activity, tissue repair, and deep dermal remodelling. They are especially beneficial in addressing thinning skin and crepiness, with longer-term regenerative outcomes compared to hyaluronic acid-based skin boosters.
• Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): This autologous treatment uses your body’s own growth factors to stimulate collagen production and cellular renewal. PRP is ideal for improving overall tone, texture, and resilience in the neck, particularly for clients seeking a natural regenerative effect.
• Microneedling: Promotes neocollagenesis and dermal thickening by creating controlled micro-injuries. It is effective for refining texture, reducing fine lines, and improving skin firmness, especially when used in a course of treatments.
• Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling: Combines collagen induction therapy with radiofrequency energy to remodel deeper layers of the skin. This is particularly effective for skin laxity and more advanced structural ageing, with visible tightening and dermal support.
• Botulinum Toxin (Toxin): Small doses of botulinum toxin can be precisely injected into platysmal bands to soften dynamic vertical neck lines and reduce downward muscle pull that contributes to laxity. This treatment can subtly lift and smooth the neck contour, enhancing the results of skin quality treatments.
• Dermal Fillers: In select cases, soft fillers can be used to treat horizontal neck lines caused by volume depletion. This approach is best reserved for static creases that persist despite other treatments and is often combined with skin boosters or regenerative injectables for an optimal outcome.
Each of these treatments offers specific benefits depending on the underlying concerns. A detailed clinical consultation will determine the most suitable protocol for restoring a firmer, smoother, and more youthful appearance to the neck.
