INTRODUCTION

This protocol ensures the safe and effective administration of skin boosters, including Teoxane Redensity 1, Profhilo, Jalupro, and other hyaluronic acid-based biorevitalisation products. These treatments improve skin hydration, elasticity, and collagen stimulation while addressing fine lines, dullness, and skin laxity.

This protocol aligns with MHRA, Save Face, and HAUS OF ÄSTHETIK internal policies, ensuring compliance with best practice standards.

Teoxane Redensity 1

• Contains a unique blend of HA, antioxidants, amino acids, and vitamins.

• Indicated for intensive skin hydration and fine line reduction.

• Suitable for the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

Profhilo

• High molecular weight stabilised hyaluronic acid designed for bio-remodelling.

• Ideal for treating skin laxity and loss of volume.

• Requires a standardised 5-point BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) injection technique.

Jalupro (Classic & HMW)

• Mesotherapy-based skin booster containing HA and amino acids.

• Best for fine lines, under-eye rejuvenation, and collagen induction.

• Injected using microbolus or papule technique.

Inclusion Criteria:

• Adults 18+ looking to improve skin quality, hydration, and elasticity.

• Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

• Ideal for dull, dehydrated, or ageing skin.

Exclusion Criteria:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.

• Active skin infections or inflammation at the treatment site.

• Autoimmune conditions requiring immunosuppressive therapy.

• History of severe allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid.

• Patients with unrealistic expectations.

• Store skin boosters at 2-25°C, avoiding direct sunlight.

• Check the expiry date and batch number before use.

• Use a 30G or 32G needle for injection.

Techniques:

• Microbolus: Small deposits per injection point for collagen stimulation.

• Linear Threading: Smooth placement of product along deeper dermal layers.

• Papule Technique: Small blebs that diffuse into the dermis.

• Avoid touching the treated area for 6 hours.

• Refrain from makeup application for 12-24 hours.

• No sun exposure, sauna, or swimming for 48 hours.

• Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours.

• Mild swelling or bruising may occur; apply ice if necessary.

• Teoxane Redensity 1: 3 sessions, 2-4 weeks apart.

• Profhilo: 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 6 months.

• Jalupro Classic & HMW: 2-4 sessions, 10-14 days apart.

• Maintenance is recommended every 6-9 months.

Common Side Effects:

• Redness, swelling, mild bruising (resolves within 48 hours).

• Tenderness at the injection site (subsides within 24 hours).

Rare Side Effects (Require Medical Attention):

• Persistent swelling beyond 5 days.

• Nodules or lump formation.

• Signs of infection (warmth, pus, increasing pain).
