INTRODUCTION
This protocol ensures the safe and effective administration of 9D High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatments within HAUS OF ÄSTHETIK. 9D HIFU is a non-invasive skin tightening and lifting treatment designed to stimulate collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and contour the face and body.
Only trained medical professionals and aesthetic practitioners with accredited HIFU training may perform this treatment. The procedure must be conducted following the clinic’s Infection Control, Patient Safety, Record Keeping, and Consent Policies.

9D HIFU is suitable for patients seeking:

PRODUCT STORAGE INFORMATION
HIFU cartridges and handpieces must be stored in a clean and dry environment. Machine settings should be calibrated before each treatment. The device must be regularly serviced and maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
STAFF REQUIREMENTS
Only medically trained professionals or certified aesthetic practitioners who have undergone specific 9D HIFU training may perform this treatment. Practitioners must maintain continuing professional development (CPD) in non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments.

EXCLUSION CRITERIA
HIFU treatment is contraindicated in patients who:

Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Have active skin infections or open wounds at the treatment site

Have metal implants, pacemakers, or defibrillators

Have severe or cystic acne in the treatment area

Have undergone dermal fillers or Botox within the last 2 weeks

Have keloid or hypertrophic scarring tendencies

Have autoimmune skin conditions such as lupus or scleroderma

Have severe diabetes with poor healing ability
PRE-TREATMENT ASSESSMENT

A comprehensive patient consultation must be conducted before treatment.

SIDE EFFECTS & MANAGEMENT
