What happens if I need to return an item?
If you return part or all of your order, Klarna will update your statement once the retailer processes the return. Be sure to follow the retailer’s return instructions and keep a record of your tracking details. To ensure your payment is paused while the return is being processed, log into your Klarna account, select “Report a return”, and Klarna will adjust your statement once the retailer confirms the return.
I received a faulty or incorrect item. Do I still need to pay for it?
No, you do not need to pay for damaged, faulty, or incorrect items. Follow the retailer’s dispute resolution process and report the issue via Klarna. Log into your Klarna account, select “Report a problem” to pause your payment, and once the retailer confirms your cancellation or return, Klarna will issue a refund within 5–7 business days.
I haven’t received my order. What happens to my Klarna payment?
If your order hasn’t arrived, you do not need to make a payment until you receive it. Contact the retailer for a delivery update and log into your Klarna account to select “Report a problem”, which will pause your payment until the order is delivered.
My Klarna statement is incorrect. What should I do?
If your statement does not match your order details, contact the retailer to correct the issue. You can also log into your Klarna account and select “Report a problem” to pause the statement until it is resolved.
What happens if I don’t make a payment on time?
If you miss a Pay in 30 Days payment:
“Pay in 30 Days” is a credit product, and you must pay Klarna by the due date. Klarna may apply late fees if the payment is not made on time. Missed payments may be reported to credit reference agencies, which could affect your ability to use Klarna or other financial services in the future. If you miss a Pay in 3 Instalments payment:
“Pay in 3” is a credit agreement, and your payments are taken automatically based on the agreed schedule. Klarna will send reminders before the due date so you can ensure sufficient funds are available. If a payment fails, late fees may apply as per Klarna’s Terms & Conditions.
